Unifun and Roshan Start Collaboration with Balance+: Elevating Services Advertisement for Exceptional Customer Experiences
On June 2, 2023, the Balance+ platform made its grand debut on the Roshan Afghanistan network.
The main function of Balance+ is to provide the possibility for Roshan’s Customers to activate interesting offers (VAS, Bundles, Credit, etc.) through their familiar balance check service *444#. Activation in Balance+ is done in an interactive way, meaning that Customers can subscribe to an interesting offer in the same USSD session of balance check service. At the initial phase of the project, Balance+ proposes Subscribers to activate following VAS offers: Islamic, Dr on Call, and Sports. In the coming days other promotional campaigns will be added to Balance+, so that each Subscriber can find an offer that suits his needs.
Balance+ targeting, that comes as an additional feature to interactivity, is a critical factor in ensuring the success of advertising campaigns. With targeting possibilities, Roshan can push individual promotions for each Customer. The range of targeting criteria in Balance+ is very diverse, from targeting by balance/active service/languages/tariffs to location/type of handset/etc. This targeted approach ensures that advertisements are not perceived as intrusive or irrelevant, thereby enhancing the overall Customer experience. As a result, targeted messages have proven to generate 2-3 times more revenue compared to non-targeted messages.
