Bitel is the first mobile carrier that uses only 3G network in Peru, with a density of up to 80% coverage of the country. Bitel has been operating in Peru since 2011 when it began laying down the infrastructure for what is today Peru’s largest fiber optic network, which covers 24 regions of the country and stretches up to a total of 17,000 km. The opening of the telecommunications network in Peru is a new development milestone in the process of globalization of Viettel.
