MCA & NAM from Unifun: Now Accessible to All Getesa Subscribers

Unifun is excited to announce the successful launch of the MCA & NAM platform in partnership with Getesa Equatorial Guinea on August 16, 2023.

Quite often there are problems that prevent voice connection of subscribers. For instance, called subscriber is out of coverage, his line is busy, or mobile phone is switched off. MCA & NAM platform from Unifun is aimed to solve such problems, improving the level of information support of subscribers without additional expensive voice resources. The platform includes two services:

Missed Call Alert, also known as MCA, is a service designed to notify via SMS alert the called Party (Number B) about the missed calls while the called Party was unavailable for calls.

Notify About Me, also known as NAM,is a service, designed to notify via SMS alert the calling Party (Number A), that called Party (Number B), which was out of the coverage/busy, returned to the network.

Notably, the MCA & NAM platform is inclusively available to all of Getesa’s subscribers by default, without necessitating any additional subscription. In simpler terms, every Getesa subscriber gains access to the MCA & NAM services completely free of charge. This platform provision model not only reinforces Customer loyalty and satisfaction but also contributes to a surge in voice traffic, underscoring its comprehensive benefits.
