Interactive and Targeted Advertising in Each Balance Check Request – Now Available on 9mobile!

We are pleased to announce the launch of USSD Balance+ on the 9mobile Nigeria network on July 26, 2023. Starting from the end of July, 9mobile’s Subscribers can conveniently access the Interactive USSD Balance+ service by dialing the commercial short code *310# on their devices.

During the initial stage of the Balance+ launch, 9mobile chose to advertise the following products: Morecredit, 18.5 GB monthly, 650 MB daily, and 7GB weekly. Both 9mobile and Unifun have plans to expand the platform further, taking advantage of USSD Balance+’s capability to promote an unlimited number of services.

To ensure that each Subscriber from the extensive list of promoted products receives the most relevant offers, USSD Balance+ supports diverse targeting based on criteria such as: account balance, language preferences, active bundles, previously activated products, and more. In addition to the wide range of offers configured in Balance+ and smart targeting, the platform allows Subscribers to activate any promoted service with just one click, replying to USSD response of *310#.

For instance, imagine a scenario where a Subscriber checks balance account and discovers that he has no money. In such cases, USSD Balance+ springs into action, automatically proposing the “MoreCredit” offer to the Subscriber. This smart targeting ensures that the Subscriber is presented with the most relevant and beneficial offer.

During the interactive session, the Subscriber can effortlessly replenish his account by dialing the requested button in response to the USSD short-code. This seamless process empowers the Subscriber to quickly access the “MoreCredit” offer and conveniently top up his account with just a few simple steps.
