Responsibilities

1. Designing, developing and re-engineering of SQL data structures and queries
2. Analysing and fine-tuning of the architecture, data structures and queries
3. Fine-tuning the MSSQL/MYSQL DBMS
4. Monitoring database server’s security and activity
5. Provisioning of MSSQL/MYSQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations

Requirements

1. Advanced proficiency in SQL database management and development
2. Deep understanding of MSSQL/MYSQL underlying storage engines and processes
3. Advanced proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL statements, keys, relations, indexes, etc.
4. Understanding and implementation of standards and best practices in MSSQL/MYSQL

Must-have skills

1. Maximum attention to detail and analytical thinking
2. Orientation on research of additional information independently
3. Ability to organize workload taking full responsibility for what you do
4. Ability to provide information clearly and shortly
5. To be friendly and communicative
