Universal Mobile Systems LTD (Mobiuz) is a joint venture between OJSC MTS and Republic of Uzbekistan. MTS has a stake in 50.01% of the share capital of Mobiuz, the remaining share is transferred to the Republican State Unitary Enterprise “Center for radio broadcasting and television”, which is administered by the State Committee of communication of Uzbekistan.

Mobile network was put into commercial operation on the whole territory of Uzbekistan on December 1, 2014.

Mobiuz provides advanced mobile voice and wireless Internet services using GSM and UMTS technologies.
